Friendship Flags flying high around the world!

Main Content Inline large

This year our summer camp community project reached a global scale with the launch of our Friendship Flags project! Watch our YouTube video to see how we crafted more than 400 flags that connected children across 12 countries. We had a lot of fun creating the kind of world we want to live in. We were very happy to run our Creative Adventures summer camp this year for Linkages to Learning and the Mansion at Strathmore!

If you know of any other organizations (anywhere in the world!) that would love to receive a package of our "Friendship Flags" please let us know--we still have a few more!

UPDATE--We just received an email from a participating teacher in El Salvador and she wrote to tell us that "The Friendship Flags have arrived!!! I am SO excited to do this project with the kids. The flags look wonderful and I know the kids are going to love the project--especially after we string the flags up in the clinic and they can be reminded everyday that they have friends thousands of miles from here!"

Back to school with a whole new look!

As you've probably noticed by now, we've redesigned our email communications...but you may have missed our also newly redesigned Community projects webpage . The much improved Community page showcases all of our students' hard work (along with our amazing teachers, CIT's and volunteers). See how Creative Adventures Inc. is making an impact in the DC metropolitan area by clicking here. Of course, many, many, many thanks to all our kids, parents, and staff for making these projects a success!
